EMC Integration System.

Introduction:

What is EMC?
Electromagnetic Compatibility: With the proliferation of electronic systems in every aspect of our daily lives, there inevitably comes the problem of compatibility. Listening to the news on AM radio while using an electric razor should not be a problem, as it was in days gone by.

Why do we need EMC?
If both the razor and the radio manufacturers adhere to EMC design practices, then listening to the news on AM radio while using an electric razor, presents no problem. Also, worldwide governmental regulations prohibit electronic products from emitting or being susceptible to Electro-Magnetic Interference

How do we implement EMC?
Emission, susceptibility, and path are the three constituents of EMC, with Emission being the one causing the most incompatibilities, while yielding the greatest number of solutions. Susceptibility on the other hand, is subtler in its effect and its solutions. Finally, the Path can be the arbiter of both.

RF EMC test methods are developing at an increasing pace, driven by the need for cheaper and more reliable test result. A company seeking to invest in an in-house test facility is faced with evaluating a complex and fast-moving target, and one to which there are few if any standard solutions. The key to a cost-effective investment is to match as closely as possible the equipment and facility portfolio with the known and anticipated test requirements, and to build in as much flexibility and capability as possible at the initial stages to allow for effective upgrades later on.

It follows therefore assembling a complete RF conducted and radiated test system is a complicated task. Depending on the purpose and extend of testing various key issues need to be address prior to setting up the lab be it for teaching, research or manufacturing.

1. Planning.
2. Site attenuation.
3. Test to be conducted.
4. Facility required for the testing.
5. Instruments/Equipment required for the testing
6. System Integration.
7. Training, awareness and usage apart from test method and
     procedures.

It does not necessary follows in the above order because maybe prudent to have all engineers and technician to have basic training on EMC first prior to setting up the lab and so on.

Very few suppliers can offer an economically turnkey approach the system required normally come from different sources and must be integrated to achieve the purpose.

For these entire purpose and achievement requirement you would need an organization proven and reliable to design, source, built, install and commission all your needs along with system integration for maximum guaranteed achievement.  In this regard you have ZIZI PHAMIX SDN BHD who has establish the largest Open Area Test Site (OATS) in Asia for SIRIM Berhad which includes the design and fabrication of GRP Enclosure, Ground Planes, Anechoic Chamber, Shielded Rooms, Equipment, Instrument and successfully system integrate them in accordance to CISPR standards and listing with Federal Communication Commission (FCC) of the United State of America.

In ZIZI Phamix you can trust provide you the advisory planning and training services which is the fundamental element prior to setting up the lab and thereafter to design, supply, built, install and commission the lab for you with guaranteed performance, accredited calibration and low cost.
